Motorola Android “Discussion Groups” and upcoming Android update

For those inter­ested in the expe­ri­ences of other DROID users, I have found the “offi­cial” Motorola com­mu­nity site for the Android:

I just started using this site, but it allows you to see all of the discussions/questions opened by what I assume to be DROID owners/users. I recently started a dis­cus­sion on the battery/process issues I have been inves­ti­gat­ing, and I hope the result­ing con­ver­sa­tion will be lively (and informative).

Android Update — Decem­ber 11^th?

Also in my trav­els, I found a link that talks about a pos­si­ble Decem­ber 11^th release date for the 1^st Android update. It looks like this update will include about 5 pages of fixes — it will be inter­est­ing to see if the list of fixes grows.
